Just digging around into the history of EC.
The server that started it all, Whocraft. Never really understood the name (Doctor Who? whois?) This is the message from mikewho, the owner, explaining the reason why the server was shut down. From what I can remember, this was aroundthe time of Minecraft 1.0.0:

Now a question I’m wondering about: does anyone know what happened to GTLtheLoneWolf did after he left EC?
I took a look in some old file too and I found that gtlthelonewolf left EC to create his own server
any idea which server?
hmm. i should compile a history of EC, if i have the time. just did a general search of “whocraft”. seems like a lot of people from the original whocraft went to EC, but over time they started to trickle out.
I am looking forward to reading the story of the server from your perspective
If I spend the time on it, it’ll be a unbiased bipartisan (if that even applies) record.
