So yiss, as you most likely know (having banned me), I am indeed banned from the server. Why? As you also know, the duplication of items via the conflict of the shop mod and the new item, the hopper. As I am aware, I broke one of the core rules of the server by doing so, the “don’t be ‘that guy’ and abuse bugs” rule. I have no justifications for my actions, and I am aware they were 100% disallowed. If you really want to know why I did such a thing when I was a well respected town owner, it would have to be the lack of presence/enforcement regarding the issue. You see, although bug abuse is was a prohibited offence, I don’t think many of us on the server take such rules at face value Why is that? A lack of clarification and definition. Like I said, I’m well aware that my actions were banned. However, having never been approached about it or hearing about it put my concerns to the back of mah mind. In my mind, I was the only person to have known about this (shitty idea huh) and therefore was dissuaded from reporting the bug or ignoring it.
Anyway why should I be unbanned? Why are convicts paroled? Say a murderer was to kill an innocent man, and the next day have a miracle drug given to him which would cure him of his mental problems, his depression, and at the same time ( because it’s a fucking amazing pill), clear his debts, land him a well paying job, and stable housing. Would we still jail him? In a perfect society, no. We would have no punishment, as that would be only detrimental to society. We would have rehabilitation and euthanasia. With regards to the server, that corresponds to bans, and ban appeals 😛 Anyway, I apologize for my actions, having clearly upset many people on this server. I don’t believe that I am a further danger to this server, and that I will cause any more harm. I understand that further problems I cause may result in a hefty tag or ban.

Oh yeah, and edit: I am wholly responsible for all the bug abuse. None of my fellow town members have helped in my damage to the server, nor have they benefited from it, afaik. They may have known, but being my friends, can you really blame them for failing to blow the whistle? The creators of the shops are also not responsible, I tricked them into creating showcases under the guise of using them for visual effect only.

Ah, so that’s how you got so much iron( I am assuming) that’s a darn shame… The thing is… lots of people have been banned for duplicating, you should of known better bro… If you were duplicating during the time when everyone was getting banned for it, you should of just burned it all, unfortunately you didn’t… in which is a really big problem for you.
Were they? I visit the server at least a good 5-6 times on a typical day. I have never seen anyone banned for such an offense. I’m not saying that makes it right, I was clearly in the wrong. But that’s why I was tempted into doing such a thing. But you got a nice farm going, didn’t you skills? 😛
Lol, you should of been looking at the forums lately, to keep up with the latest news, but the [Announcement] for duplicating should of been good enough, they post that announcement pretty often, it is hard to not see it.
…….99% i might get blamed for duping items….. I did stock a lot of stuff for my scs shops and then i just removed them down cause my donership expired. Just wanna let mods know and u can check logs about where i got them from.
I think Blob should be unbanned. He’s a good person in the server (I presumed), and helped Nhu host King of the Ladder. (By the way, Nhu and Blob, thanks for hosting that, that was really fun.)
