ECClient is invalid on my laptop

I don’t know what happened but I accidently updated my minecraft and now my ECClient isn’t working and when I try too open the folder it says it is invalid I could use a little help please.
download it and install it again, otherwise then force update
Bender you mustnt update minecraft when you have the client,there is a button when you enter game
that says ”Update”
and if you press that download the link of the client and replace minecraft with ECClient but rename ECClient to minecraft-Lac
I accidently updated and I tried download it again but it errors for some reason.
