So I was thinking that you could allow fire. It could be like water and just stay there, not burn things. Say you build a wooden torch and then ignited the tip, it wouldn’t ignite the wood.

There isn’t such thing as when you build a torch and it’s not lit.

I mean it ignites where you ignited, but doesn’t ignite the entire block/structure.

What you mean is say you build something like a pig out of woll and you want to light the eyes on fire (idk y) you don’t want the whole thing to burn down what the mods should do is /gamerule firespread false” downside being that you can’t light the nether portal in skyblocks (maybe it could be moved to a differnt server”

Disco if you are in a town just toggle firespread on and then light the fire then turn it back off.

Or maybe /plot toggle fire , it only effect your plot rather than the whole town.

There should be a command that lets you to toggle fire to be on and off. Do /help to see if there is one.

No, even though fire wouldnt be able to damage anything, many people can abuse it and create multiple floors on their plot where the whole floor is lit with fire, which causes immense lag. Trust me, I’ve experienced it.
