Hi guys, just to make things clear: we gotta wait until we our server software gets updated so we can update to 1.7, so to play in the server you gotta edit your profile using the launcher and select the 1.6.4 version.
Another frequently asked question is whether we are gonna wipe the world. At the moment we wont wipe the main world, but we will wipe /wild . This decision may change, so my advice is to save your valuable stuff in a town just in case.
EDIT: We have decided to wipe the wilderness areas in main world, the towns will be saved. In order for us to identify the areas that will be saved, mods will be placing sponge blocks between Y coordinates 55 and 75. Each sponge block should save 3 additional chunks all around, so basically each sponge should save a square shaped 7×7 chunks. Sponge is blacklisted, if a non-mod is found with a sponge in his belongings he will be permabanned and rollbacked. Please do not interfere with mods placing the sponges and also I would advise to double check your town and report if its missing sponges in places. We are hoping we can update to 1.7 by this weekend.
