Hello, I’m Ronald69 and I joined the server today. As I was looking around the servers, I noticed that the minigames server has indeed alot of minigames, however is a bit deserted, and I can see why. The minigames server has quite alot of fun minigames, however they’re plain. You play and play but eventually you get bored. Why? I can see that minigames, for example paintball, don’t have any reward/currency system so that there are upgrades. I believe it would be a good idea to add currency so that you can upgrade your gameplay, just like hypixel’s server. It would make the mini-games much more fun and entertaining, and would get alot of new players to the server.
P.S: I posted this in the survival forums because I found no appropriate section in the Mini-Games forum.
P.S.S: If this idea manages to work and get more players, or if you somehow obtain new players, I suggest making paintball arenas where more than 2 people can battle.

The second minigames server was released fairly recently after undergoing a change from just SuperSmash, so at the moment it’s finding its feet, and soon enough the new minigames will be flowing in along with members. The fact that there are two servers may make it look deserted but it simply is diluted in terms of numbers, spreading out between the two.
I think there should be a section where members can post any suggestions for minigames plugins + bukkit link.

I understand, however, even if you consider counting the people in both servers, it would reach up to what, 60 people? 80 people max.? I don’t think that’s a great amount of people when it comes to a mini-game server, and looking at the number of mini-games there is. I’m not rushing it, nor saying the server should be perfect, but I’m just saying that my suggestion would make the mini-games funner and more entertaining. Why achieve good when you can achieve great?
Seem’s like a good idea, BUT, what if a newbie comes to the minigames server and all the little minigames he goes to their’s just OP people everywhere because they’ve been playing for a long time. The newbie would get very frustrated and leave. Their are many ups and downs in this idea so I’m not sure.
Actually, they might be OP but only for some time, if you take a look at hypixel you can see that there are powerups you can purchase and activate ingame when you get a certain amount of coins. Go try it out in hypixel, you’ll see what I mean.
Ronald69, thanks for your great, great, suggestions. I, Omega, am the HeadMod of the Minigames Servers. I unfortunately shouldn’t/can’t tell you a few things. The current Minigames you are playing in is Minigames 2.0. Trust me, 3.0 is coming VERY, VERY soon. It includes perks such as currency, new games, a compass-warp system, a donation system, and much, much more.

After mg3 update , i am pretty sure that mg will be the most famous server in ec :3 *Evil Laugh*
