Okay, so I’ve seen this on the survival server a lot recently and it really irritates me. A lot of players are usually bugging mods to help them. They aren’t showing much respect. They just go,” HEY [insert random moderator name here] HELP ME OUT HERE DAMNIT!” Okay not exactly like that, but still I don’t see many people really grateful. I mean sure you can feel grateful for what the moderators are doing, however…..it seems we should at least show them some appreciation for what they’ve done since they do more behind the scenes than most of us know of.

Maybe starting today, try and say Please or Thank you to a moderator when you ask them for help and when they help you accomplish a task. I mean, its only maybe a sign to show them you are thankful for their help and even though its just 1 second, it could mean a lot to them. I’d like to encourage all the members on the server to try this out.

Did you guys know that not even one of these moderators are paid. These moderators are doing labor for free, and spending their time and resources helping you out. These guys not are doing a job like “we can” but they do it like “we’re the best!” So we should really appreciate it.

I would say, a lot of members do say thanks at the end after helping them. Some don’t and it’s not a big deal, but like helping a person who don’t usually talk in general chat is pretty good.

What rogue said is true…. We do try our best to help and yep.

The thing is wither, I want to encourage people to at least maybe say it once in a while. I want the mods to at least feel appreciated. I hate when people seem to treat mods as if they are just there to satisfy them. The moderators are people too. Again I just want them to feel appreciated. Even if it is or isn’t a big deal to say thanks or not, I still want people to try it out.

I’m touched by this and some mods really pour their heart and soul into their job and we really appreciate your gratitude ;D

I think that thanking a moderator is essential, although mods usually really didn’t mind, it’s their job to help other people after all. But I do know that if people does not thank a moderator for helping them, they show some disrespect. However, it is still exceptional. But I think it’s best to thank them 😀

Thank you for posting this msn. Though not everyone says HELP “ME OUT DAMN IT”, its surprising how many do. We try our best to help. Theres no reason to disrespect like that.

@MSN…(Long name FTW xD) I totally agree with you people should show more respect ESPECIALLY in minigames ( turns out when you warn someone they swear and Insult you spamming the chat and not admitting they did wrong …) Yea and I agree with Rogue 2 😀

I think it would be really lame if mods got paid. I was a GuardianMod on a different server (Very similar to this, one word of our server name is in it’s server name too!) and I didn’t have to do much. Although, I think it is very douche to talk to mods like that.

That ain’t a problem at all ya’ll! A mod has to be very good in a lot of his personalities, so good we don’t even care when we are thanked or not, even the way we are treated. As long as none of us quit his job because of the level of respect we get, then none of us was complaining about it. Thank you for posting this MSN, but again we really don’t need to feel like we are appreciated by the members we help (but that doesn’t mean you guys should disrespect us 😐 ).

I agree with this. People can be jerk sometimes to mods and they should treat mods with a bit more respect, it would help a ton but they don’t understand. They don’t think that it would hurt the mods feelings.
