Hello guys! It’s raz04thund34 here and I am back for a new guide: The “Good English” guide.
Capitalization
Capitalization is important. Don't capitalize the first letter of every word. Instead, capitalize the first letter of the word.
Example: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
Grammar.
Yeah. Grammar. Grammar is the MOST IMPORTANT. Why? Easy, to let people understand you.
Punctuation
Punctuation is also an essential. It tells people these:
Are you telling? (.)
Are you asking? (?)
Are you commanding? (.)
Are you excited? (!)
Are you angry? (!)
Indention.
This is not necessary for the server chat, but important for the forums.
If your topic/reply contains five or more sentences (paragraph), then indent.
Indention = 5 spaces or TAB on Notepad
Spelling
Spell things correctly. It will take time for people to understand you if you spell things incorrectly.
Example (Incorrect):
Teh queik brawn fax jumpz over teh lzy dog.
Example (Correct):
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
Look at the difference. Which one is easier to understand?
No slang
Using slang also makes people not understand you in the case that they are old.
Use “going to” instead of “gonna”
Use “got to” instead of “gotta”
Using idioms is okay.
