First of all, go to https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mcqP5NdZm5c For a guide to uploading screenshots (Done by megaseth020, thanks Seth).
Step one: Take a screenshot with F2 showing proof of someone committing a taggable thing (luring, Griefing, scamming)
Scamming: Offering a deal (example: “Selling 5 diamonds for 3k”) and then receiving payment, but not giving the items, or vice versa.
Luring: Offering a service/item another player would like, but instead trapping/killing them. Doing /tpahere without offering something is not Luring, however it is still against the rules.
Griefing: Having a rank in a town, but then betraying your trust and breaking valuables, or building unwanted things. If a town’s permissions are messed up, those who messed up the permissions can be punished with proof, and those who grief the town (outsiders) cannot be punished for this.
Okay, now that that’s down, the bulk of the tutorial can commence.
After you have your proof, go to the link provided to find out how to upload them. Then copy the link to your clipboard (drag your mouse along the web address, then right click and click copy)
Next step: Go to the survival forum, then go to player reports, and scroll down until you reach the “new topic” template. Choose a topic title, preferably “(the type of tag you are reporting) report” don’t name it something like “new topic” or something
By the way, if you’re reporting a griefer, do /lb tool, and right-click on the griefed blocks, and take screenshots of the info it shows. Reporting a lurer? Take screenshots of the offer (example: “tp to me for diamonds”), you accepting the request, and you dying, and, If possible, proof of what you died with.
Reporting a scam? Simple. Take screenshots of you paying, and what the offer was. Also, try to get some proof he/she didn’t give you the said item(s).
Next: Post the link from the video tutorial (The screenshots you took, not the link to the video) and post it in your topic. (Right click and click paste)
Next step: (Optional) add a description to it about what happened.
Last step (optional): Celebrate getting a bad person punished
