Block Protection Removal

I have come across many locked chests and a furnace house, all of which have been sitting for quite some time. They all happen to be inside of my town’s territory. Is there any way I might be able to get them unlocked or removed? Is there a time requirement to unlock them? Etc..
If you find you have inactive locked items, chests, doors, furnaces etc. Contact a GuardianMod or higher, and they will be able to remove them for you. Inactivity would be 10 or more days after last access of locked item.
