Hey guy!
I call up all of you to help prevent griefers from damaging our towns and if they do, help to get them and punish them for what they have done. This thread might help to gather up all information about griefers, if you guys want to share your information here. Also it can be used as a database to see, whether a person you want to add to town, is a griefer or not.
Today Ikariya has been griefed by Scruffy_Puppy and that’s the reason he was kicked from town. It wasn’t a accidental grief, because the size of the place he griefed isn’t small. Here some pics of it:

Pic 4.:I really call all of you up to report griefing and other prohibited activities to your mods and town assitants. Also proof of the crime would be helpful in investigation.
If you catch a griefer ask him to repair the broken objects and if he refuses, report to your closes person of higher rank.-Aki
Most importantly is to be aware that this doesn’t happen on a town with permissions set up correctly, so ask an Expert if you need help configuring your town to be grief-proof. There is no compensation for losses during a griefing on a town if the town permissions were not configured correctly
Just for the record: In the last few days we have had a major problem with the permissions plugin for towny. For example PvP still worked in some towns/plots while being turned off for the whole town. Our permissions have been properly arranged for the whole town, but sometimes people use those glitches and exploit it to grief or pvp inside town.
But still, I hope all all town mayors and assitants will come to the same point, when I say, that even if this happens, someone shouldn’t just go and grief but report it, exploiting this glitch is still considered griefing.

Verified, i set them up myself, and i saw that they were that way yesterday.
bitches be griefing /warp sky. wool is gone
I am putting abdiandshamRDead under parole as of aloneland.
He has griefed my house and maybe some others
I have given him a second chance, this is just here for a reminder.
But be on the lookout for him.
Good Hunting
~Grim_ReaperIf griefing a town is prohibited, why not punish repeat griefers? Players could report griefs in a ticketing system with proof from screenshots and logblock. Although I argue griefing should be completely prohibited from the server, things like this should be limited, and i criticize the lack of action against these attacks. Griefers simply view things like this as “bigger game” and while I do not blame the moderators and admins for mistakes like this, I would like to see a change to how griefers are dealt with. The current punishment system for griefing is almost nonexistent, and any punishment dealt out is like a slap to the wrist. The current system must change, or i’m afraid the players on the server will be start leaving. I have already seen one player leave because of griefing and pvp. Also, posting this is not a good idea, as its just simply a way for the griefers to see that the work they do is actually paying off. Besides, I’ve seen worse happen to that place. If anything, I do not want to see this server go down, as I have seen this happen so many times, and I have also seen this threat dealt with. I really do not want to see this server lose it’s reputation.
Thanks for your Consideration
-danielxingPlayers have the tools to protect themselves from griefing. If a town and a plot has permissions set up in place then griefing is just not possible. The admins are responsible for compensating for griefing only whenever there is a glitch in the system , which rarely happens. I can assure you that 49 out of 50 cases of griefing are because the person had permissions on the town/plot so everybody could destroy/build. For protecting a plot its as simple as standing on it and type /plot set perm off and for a town its /town set perm off
