invintory trouble

iv randomly started having trouble with my inventory in the survival world. what happens is that when I pick up something or drop something that doesn’t already have a stack in my inventory it replaces my boots with the item and destroys the boots. also when I die all my armor moves to the slot above it and my helmet gets destroyed. I don’t know how to fix this and if it randomly fix’s itself ill post it but can someone please help me fix this
We have just found the solution to this bug, we are updating Bukkit at the moment. I apologize for the inconvenience.
