Melon Farm

If someone takes melons from a melon farm that is not from his town, but the permission to switch for outsiders are turned on, can the people from outside still can take them, because here is what “extra informations” says in EC’s rules : “- Griefing and PvP in towns will not have consequences if the default permissions have been set up incorrectly.” So it would mean everyone have the rights to do it, because one of my friends has been told that if he would not leave this place, he would be banned!

Try replacing the redstone activator to a lever or a stone button. It prevents others from taking ur melons
Also try to do /plot set perm outsider off when you’re on the plot.
This will allow no outsiders to come and steal it.
And yes, stealing melons is not illegal. But if you don’t want your melons to be taken, follow my method.

Hello Evens,

It is indeed not againt the rules to pvp / grief or steal when the town or plot perms are not set correct. I dont know who told your friend that he would get banned if he doesnt leave but the person was lying. And like Zev said just putt outsiders off so they can do nothing in your town.
