Does anyone know if there is a way where I can change my name without having to get a new premium account? I think Mojang should make an option where once you buy an account you should get 1 free name change. Any others you will have to buy for like 5 dollars. Let me know if you know of any way this could be possible. Someone said something about being able to change your name in 1.7.2 but I believe that that is JUST for the server. Again let me know if you know of a way where you can change your name in ALL servers and not lose any progress without having to buy a new premium account.
No not yet. Mojang said they are working on it.
They are working on it. Not possible yet unless you make a cracked account.

kevin, there is a way to transfer your account over to a new email? not too sure that you could get a new username, but go head and give it a try, why u going to change it D:

And they will answer you very fast.^It would take time to answer back as their very busy atm.

Dinnerbone is actually working on that ATM but I THINK it will only be out in 2.0. I suspect that you may not be able to change your account name but rather the name seen by others on the server.
