@Trollson It’s not a rumor it could be likely to happen. I’m not saying that because of the fact it’s bought by a different company. I’m saying that because Microsoft does that with most of its products. And another thing: If people want to make rumors, they can that doesn’t mean they’ll be true. -_- Some people misunderstood this, Microsoft did not buy Minecraft, they bought MOJANG, so I doubt many changes will happen to Minecraft, but they have better coders (I guess) from Microsoft, this might be the rise of Minecraft, or the opposite.

Well let’s be honest here. Mojang does have other games other than minecraft but then again. This is a MINECRAFT forum and whenever someone thinks of Mojang, they think of Minecraft.

I don’t think it’s gunna be that simple. Why would Windows need to cripple Apple? If Minecraft gets a ton of people purchasing it, then they’ll probably try to invest in it. Even if they have 100% access to Minecraft, why would they try to ruin their profit stream or try to piss off players thus making them not buying MC.

As for mods, and stuff, I really bet that if they’re gunna ban mods, servers, and etc. No one would buy Minecraft, or they’d buy Minecraft, but buy nothing, or just play Minecraft for a few days and quit.

My reason to why Microsoft bought Minecraft is that they wanted to resolve the Bukkit issue, and keep up with the development of Bukkit and Minecraft making the players happy, and not getting stuck for years on development.

-Servers would crash your launcher oftenly
-Pay money for updates
-Pay money for texture packs
-Pay money for skins
