To all of those that are saying “Mods ARE BUSY, THEY HAVE A LIFE, THEY CAN’T SPEND ANY TIME ON MINECRAFT, LIFE > MC, DON’T YOU GET THE POINT!?!?!?!!?”, you’re wrong. That’s essentially the excuse for inactivity. If you can’t get on for 5 – 10 minutes every day to do something, then really, you should either contact your school/college or whatever you go to about less homework, since you don’t have any time for recreation. If you really don’t want to be on, just resign. No one will judge you.
I get that some of you guys are busy in your lives, but that does not serve as an “oh crap, we’re about to get demoted, what’s the best excuse you got before i’m demoted?” “oh right, i can say i’m just really busy irl, and they’ll excuse me”. It would be okay if let’s say I was on every day for like 2 months, and then for one week I’m going to Hawaii for vacation, so I can’t be on. That will be totally fine.
Another scenario would be that your family doesn’t like you, or you have family problems, so you use Minecraft as an antidepressant. Obviously, you can’t be on 24/7, but if you tell us that, that’ll be totally fine, since depression is a serious mental illness.
If this were Survival (the one I’m mod on), instead of just sitting there and taking your “glorious free time” to write this, I’d probably be like “When do you guys want events? I’ll start hosting them on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.” (I respect Banana for doing something like that).
As a mod team, we shouldn’t be shelling out our “precious time” just to make up excuses. Our job should be to get it done as efficiently and quickly as possible, instead of just dumping it to other mods. If we change this, we’ll make a great server as well as a great mod team.
Ahhhhhhh Greeedddd ^
Just an advice. The Mods have their own lives. They may be busy with their studies and with their personal businesses. If don’t they have enough time to play, please don’t blame em’. I know they want to help, but what if they can’t?
I’m not talking about the people that try to get on for 5 hours, but can only do 2 or 3. I’m talking about the people that have trouble sparing 5 – 10 minutes of their life. You could easily host a game of rush in 5 minutes or less. Hotfoot can be done in that time too. Even if that mod is on for 1 hour a day, he or she can get a lot done in that time, even with events. Sure, you can try to help us in 5 – 10 minutes, but it won’t even be that much use whether 10 minutes or 0.
Yeah, recently I’ve had a lot of crap in real life, but it’s clear I’m not inactive..

Patience 😉
There really isn’t an excuse for a cacti dupe glitch being around for 4 months and nobody fixing it or even acknowledging it. Just saying, not trying to attack the mods.
Lol @anderzenz you dont know the nature of the glitch. The problem is that it cant be fixed because it involves things such as game source code which is beyond us to fix. Here is the same message i sent to rogue when he asked me how to fix it.
“Its not fixable to my knowlege, (not an easy one atleast). Its a bug with the way towny/mc reads block interactions. The only way i could think of a fix is if you were to somehow change what gets read first. Like normally when you place a block, the value of that block changes and then it checks to see if you are allowed to place there. If not, then it deletes the block. So you would have to change it so it checks the area first before changing the block value. My solution was just add the cactus selling back at a lower price, and enforce heavy punishment for abuse of the glitch.”
