“It gives you the advantage of knowing what your armour is like (durability) so you can repair/switch out, and how long until your potion effects (example) wear off. ”You can tell basically exactly when to stop fighting (example), so I don’t think it’d be allowed.

Now, remember, 1.9 update is about the combat update, potion effects are now on screen as well, maybe the armor as well, who knows? Find out more in 1-2 weeks for the first 1.9 snapshots
