    The title says all. It is something that has happened to me many times. When someone asks me for help, I help them any time and any way I can. Even if I m doing something important, I never say no. But there are many ppl who ask for help but never help when asked. I am sure that this has also happened many times to you guys too. If anyone who does this is reading this post, be should stop doing that. It would be highly appreciated by me and many other ppl like me.

    I don’t really get your point, are you saying that every one of us should help? Or are you saying that you are helping and that most people think that you are not?

    SanoorAhmad, when people ask
    You for help, it means they cant do it by their own. How will they be able to help others. And NEVER! Stop helping. Its the most encouraging way to let people know your there for them and will affect your future alot

    I agree with saboor. So many people say they want to be mod and help. They ask who needs help in chat. Yet while I am there in vanish, I see so many people who claim to want to help (some with an amazing amount of up votes on their mod app) say nothing when someone asks “how do I talk in town chat” and see no one making an actual attempt to help them or telling them how to use the command. A lot of these people claimed they wanted to be a mod to help the community yet did nothing to help this member in despair.

    A quick point: When you give someone something as a gift, you do not wait for something in return, right? Otherwise it’s trading. 😛
    Same thing here. You can help people but don’t expect anything in return, except the joy itself of the feeling “weehee I helped one more guy, ima boss” (lol) or a word of appreciation/thanking.
    As said luka, it depends from everyone either to help or not.

    @RiverRunner600
    Actionly, most of the time, they can. Perhaps not commands if they’re new, but for anything else, yes: helping someone to build his house, isn’t anyone capable of it, even new players in the server?

    @vsub391
    No, here, it’s different. The ones you’ve seen while vanished only help when a mod is on, so this mod can see that they’re helping, though they hate helping people.
    Other explanation: Most of the time, people are discouraged by new-comers (nope, not necessarily noobs) because they’re using their right to ask, but it’s logic since not that much servers have towny, so yeah.

    Seems to be the gist these days. And this is why those same people are scratching their heads wondering why they aren’t moderators…its honestly pathetic to see how people are like this. This shows a lot from the people who just help when a mod is on. You can act like you are useful and all but when the time comes around and you crash, it will bite you back.

    @Alipvp

    That makes a lot more sense XD

    Helping is something that we should ALL do. We shouldn’t care about who we are helping, after all, we are all human beings (I think so), and that we have to consider ourselves as a species not just certain people, and we must grow as a species, not just as greedily as ourself.

    “- Most importantly, the person has to understand there is nothing to reward him other than the appreciation of all the players for his duties. There are no privileges for these people, no creative, no free money or stuff, nothing. These people have to love the server enough to have the guts to turn their back on their friends if they are cheating or hurting the server in a way. So think several times if you have it in you.”

    I think this quote answers your question.

    If your question is actually asking about people who wants to be mods, then vsub should have answered your question.
