The only benefits you will get is the appreciation of members. You will deal with a lot of stress and you will lose privileges that members have such as PVP.

Zevguns, trust me that is the same for me :p I’m not complaining but yeah, I see why I don’t get any votes up anymore as I’ve been taking a bit of a break from EC :\ My comp is annoying lol

We simply dont have any benefits, we just have the will to look after the server. None of us look to benefit ourselves and the appreciation of players is our motive. We all have love to the server, ideas to provide. There are tough times when moderating but we resolve problems as a team.

    Hope I helped,

Well it depends what mod you want to be, such as GuardianMod or ExpertMod, or HeadMod.

    ExpertMods duties are:

Installing, configuring, updating and disabling plugins.
Restarting server and fixing back end issues.
    Testing candidates for ExpertMod position.
Responsible for overall server gameplay and strategy

    GaurdianMods duties are:

Muting, kicking or Banning players that dont behave well. They can do so either temporarily or permanently.
Testing, reporting and providing solution to glitches in the server.
Removing abandoned locked doors, chests, etc…
    Spawning Enderdragons

Although Mods are strict about this because you can spawn Ender dragons and ban others, including mods.

    HeadMods duties are:

Installing, configuring, updating and disabling plugins.
Restarting server and fixing back end issues.
    Testing candidates for ExpertMod position.
Responsible for overall server gameplay and strategy

So yeah, the only disadvantage I can think of is that you can’t PVP, and decision making is hard and some are gonna absolutely hate you and want you off the server, but hey, these are the risks of being a Mod, because lets face it there’s a risk for everything.

Being a Mod sounds awesome although I’ve never been one. 😀
