Wow, so many great stories. It’s amazing how many people EC has touched. So for those who don’t know it, before EC the server was a revival of an old server called whocraft. I was a donor and town mayor back then and decided to revive the server when it died. It was hard to learn how to manage the server and getting people to follow me and get mods/get rid of negative mods, but it was worth it.

Applied 1 month donorship to own7ge. Regarding the second donorship of 2 weeks I see its already applied to roje, if you want to give away a donorship to Yaseen you need to donate again and make sure its under Yaseen name.
Sorry for the late reply, I will get it fixed. What happens is that buycraft only merges the donorships if they are the exact same item, so if you have a 2 week and a 1 month its not gonna turn it into 1 and 1/2 months. I have to do that manually.
This reply has been marked as private.Wither isn’t to blame, he is just doing his best to get factions up and running, he asked me to check why factions wasn’t working on 1.8 and I managed to fix it, and to the best of my knowledge all the plugins were working fine. I talked to Max about it and he mentioned the team didn’t have time to check for further bugs and wanted to keep factions down for another week and a half. The following day I talk to Wither and asked why the factions team decided to do an update without any testing beforehand, he mentioned there was testing conducted, but when they tried to upgrade they encountered a bug (the one I fixed), so I tell him to reinstate the old version if they dont have time to get to 1.8.
If there’s anyone to blame, its me. Personally, I think all servers should upgrade whenever mods have time to do it, they shouldn’t rush it, and if things go bad then they should always reinstate the working version immediately, no server should be down for that long.

It crashed, happens once every 6 months, no biggie, I just restarted it.
Reactivated donor, expires on the 17.
EC doesnt work by UUIDs, it works by usernames, so if you change your username your stuff wont be there. To recover your stuff you gotta change your name back or log into your old account temporarily using a cracked launcher and you gotta transfer your stuff manually. EC mods cant transfer stuff from one account to another.
This is relevant to my interests.
