if you are try the hopper/magnet chest chain this should work better
true you can also turn magnet on the chest its a little faster than hoppers are so if you want you can do that to
the only bad part about this is you have to use alote of hoppers but i asume the people who have a farm by spawn have the money to make a bunch

stux has a government job so im sure he jumps on the fourms when he has some down time but its not rlly an inviroment where you can just get on minecraft real life is simply more important than a game or random people on the internet
p.s.
also everyone new that hoppers where going to be used for automatic farms
that was one of the main reason people wanted hoppers in the beginning
to take away hoppers abuility to hop mellon carrots etc would take away that reason and you might as well just disable them again
this is a clearly insane ideya plus i think you might actualy have to rewright the game mickanics to do that
im sorry your shop isnt doing well but yah advertise it more i gues?
the reason i made a mellon farm btw mine at spawn was the original i created that design on singe player so everyone just kinda copied me
i new it wass going to be a problem sooner or layter
but the reason i made one was because in the verry beginning i thout shops where stupid and i could make more money on my own thats why i never open a shop
but its not like you just get on and have money it takes me a good hour+ to clear out all thoes chest manualy theres over 100+ dubble chest that i have to clear out every morning its alote more tedios than you think
btw you wouldt be complaining if you also had a mellon farm

not idk how long skills has felt this way and this was just the last straw
but i never wanted skills to leve i thout he was a verry good mod
he just made a mistake this time everyone makes them i would have droped it soon as it was rolled back this rlly sucks
bec spawn chunks are always loaded when there are people by it ofc thats what makes this automatic mellon farm work duh
if FPS is the problem there will be no rpoblem if i just build it underground right?
ill; even build a nice mantion ontop of it to make it look perty
the only time the mellon farms coss lag is when the pistons are firering you no this skills you also have one
now as far as the FPS drop i also have a verry good computer a homebuilt 2000$ computer now if there is an FPS drop its prob bec of the Loading of tall structures i bet if you turn your view distance down the problem would be fixed this goes for any tall structure
not only that but what im most upset about is the lack of warnning not only that but you not only removed the towers but all the hoppers and redstone as well all the redstone is compleatly gone
my doors dont work anymore etc alote of people have told me there quiting bec of this unless its fixed there wasnt enough lag around spawn for it to be a big deal if it was i could atleast understand
i dont speek for just myself we all want our farms back
there was no lag at server at login skills
also the spawn was all greifed all around it we made it look better
well i personaly think who ever put in the price for it at 100k was just on top of there head o thats a good price 100k per eag i mean rlly what an absurd price i mean horses are cool but there prity much useless
i mean villagers are way more usfull and there only 9k
so if anything make them 9k per eag or 5k per eag not 100k jesus
