We have borncorp’s approval, but Chris is leading the set up of the server. It is cracked, and it is 1.8. We are not using the same maps. We are doing a clean reset.
The server is on a whitelist as we are setting up plugins.
@AnderZENZ, he is only just offering it to us. No reason to jump the gun and say that we are and we are not combining servers. Chris and the higher ranks will decide if this is something we can do.

Server is almost ready btw. Plugins are almost done and spawn is done.
Oh and by the way. This is a possible remake of the “real ec” not one of those knockoff startups. Born and chris (mostly chris) are the backbone of this.

Survival. The old survival was great. I could play for 8 hours straight and have it feel like a minute.
I don’t remember who exactly you were but there is something odd about your name. Were you an assistant in my town any change? Also do you remember any other things that happened while playing EC?

MMORPG was an impossible project. We were given a vague description of what to do “roleplay server”, and we had like 1 month to make an entire open world gameplay server, each area hand constructed, each NPC set up individually, we had to work with plugins that conflicted/didn’t work with the project, we had to set up an entire story, plot, setting, everything and plan out in precise and definite steps, and not only that, but we had to MAKE OUR OWN TEAM, we were not handed a team of experts who were active and willing to do, we had to find active mods who were also good at building. The project was like building an entire game from scratch. Video game studious have people who work 8 hours a day, and are experts at what they do. Not to mention that they usually have very large teams, and these teams are usually preassembled ready to go. Even with these large teams of experts, who work 8 hours a day, it takes at least 1 year to release a title, and at least 2 to make a good one. With this project, we had only a few active mods to choose from, even with that, there were only a few experts at building, so most of us would have to stand and watch. Plus, I believe Ander had only 2 weeks, while I had 1 1/2 months, and even with that, we didn’t have much time to finish it. Since we had to make our own plot, most of our time was spent on arguing and deciding during Wither’s MMORPG project. In the end, we couldn’t accomplish anything because we had no idea what to do–we had no plot or setting to build for, and we still couldn’t reach a solution.
You guys can stop. There’s no point with arguing over such a silly topic. If you think Ander is a bad manager, and you can do better, then go ahead, make your own SV, and show how much better it is. In Ander’s position, there was pretty much no one active or willing to take care of EC. If you had been in the SV mod team while all this happened, then you’d know what was going on, instead of blaming Ander for inputting his best effort.
If you’re so salty about Ander killing EC, then why don’t you pay born a couple hundred dollars right now? That’ll get EC right back on in two seconds. In fact, if you can pay born that couple hundred dollars, I bet you’ll become SV manager too, and you can try to “fix what was ‘wrong’ with SV”.
Although it seems like I’m heavily defending Ander, I agree with what some of the other people said as well. Wither and deasert’s skill was needed desperately sometimes during EC’s time. Without them, we may have considered SV gone months ago. Ander, you shouldn’t really insult them. I do agree that you can sometimes make bad decisions like using the new server’s website as this, or making a new SV without any income. However, not knowing things like that is gaining experience itself. If you have inexperience, then why don’t you go experience some things? That’s exactly what Ander is doing.
About EC MMORPG, it was a project with no goal and no directions. If your teacher just gave you a sheet of paper and make it by Thursday, you’d have no clue what it is, and you’d probably fail that assignment. Same with MMORPG, we were never told exactly what to do, “just do it and then give me the final result”.
I remember when you were headmod in all the server branches. You were my inspiration for mod back then dude!
