EC crossed my mind today. It’s nice to see the website is still up and we can all reach out somehow. Definitely miss being younger now I am very glad to hear you’re doing well @Borncorp!

I absolutely agree that it is extremely hard to form bonds with people on most MC servers. Especially when you have something so great to compare it to, you really wish that you could have a home, a family to exist in and connect with others.

Thank you for the many wonderful years- I only think fondly of those memories. I hope we can take what we experienced at EC and apply it to our future to create a better place to be.

I don’t know, I’m enjoying going for walks with more purpose aside from just getting exercise. I think it’s pretty neat that it gets us out and having fun, even though it’s just another piece of technology. Sure gets the young ones excited though xD

Goosebumps, man. Kudos to this post regardless, it’s nice thinking about what a great community came out of the efforts of amazing people. It was a great run. I couldn’t ask for a better 4 years knowing the people from here. Kind regards to the following people: (Not in order)

I met Ed through this wonderful journey and got to know Born a little. Many others have connected with me to who’s names I can’t recall- and made Eternal- overall one of the two best servers I’ve ever been on. I still remember that massive glass skywalk I used to get lost on trying to find my way home in BornLand..I wonder if the map is still floating around in my files, I hope so!

I hope that everyone and everything has moved on smoothly and that everyone’s taking care. I don’t recall if I had a chance to properly thank you for this, Born. But thank you. I miss everyone dearly, but sadly it is fact that we are all in different parts of our lives now (hopefully) and in some ways- I couldn’t have gotten here with these people today without EC.

A small little ‘heads up.’

Is it really this necessary to ‘rebel against’ the server? I’m thinking along the lines of suggesting ideas in a more civil manner. From what I’ve seen in what you’ve said here, they ban people, and strip donors of their perms as they see fit, because we have rules. Regardless of whether or not they have paid for the server, rules still do matter, no matter how high of a rank one has. If they disobey the rules, they deserve what they get.

And from my point, I can see that you are only voicing a small little portion of the voices in this community. By that, I mean that I don’t really identify the big deal by going against the server for corrupt and incompetent moderation.

Despite my thoughts, if you’ve left the server for the past four months because it is unappealing, it shouldn’t concern you as of now if you have left the community because of it’s ‘unfitting structure.’ Born has worked really hard with all the staff to get this server to where it is now, I suggest you should consider re-thinking your little rebel plot, and if so, return with a more beneficial suggestion. The staff is completely considerate of the players, and treat the players with respect. Which I expect from them, now, and as long as they are a part of the community.
